Pool Buffer Calibration Solution
An uncalibrated pool can be a costly mistake for your pool.
A poorly calibrated pool probe can indicate that the water is too acidic or too alkaline when it really isn't, causing you to run your regulator unnecessarily. If your pool is over-calibrated, it may appear cloudy or green, which can be very off-putting for swimmers. Worse still, the water will feel hard to the touch. This can also cause calcium scaling of surfaces and equipment, which can reduce the lifespan of the equipment.

Calibration is the process of adjusting an instrument to better reflect its actual position. Pool probes should always be calibrated to ensure that your regulator operates as efficiently as possible.

How to store your pool's PH sensor for the winter. Pool water containing chlorine (and other disinfectants) tends to corrode metals in ordinary pH probes very quickly. Many measures can be taken to extend the life of the probe. Immerse your probe in a probe winterizing solution, make sure it is immersed in a winterizing solution. This will ensure that the probe can be put back into service without any worries.
